Role:
We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Director of Product Marketing to lead the go-to-market strategy for the Locus product suite. This leader will be responsible for defining our product messaging, understanding our target customers and competitors, and equipping our sales and marketing teams with the tools and narratives they need to drive significant revenue growth. This role requires a blend of strategic thinking, deep technical understanding, and exceptional communication skills.
Develop and execute comprehensive GTM strategies for new product launches, feature updates, and major releases, ensuring alignment across Product Management, Sales, and Marketing.
Define the ideal customer profile (ICP), buyer personas (e.g., Head of Logistics, VP of Supply Chain, CIO), and use cases for the Locus platform, constantly iterating based on market feedback and performance data.
Conduct deep-dive competitive analysis against key industry players to identify Locus's unique market position, differentiators, and quantifiable value proposition.
Own the pricing and packaging strategy in collaboration with Product and Finance teams to maximize market penetration and profitability across different customer segments (mid market to Enterprise).
Develop compelling, differentiated, and evidence-based product positioning and messaging that resonates with target personas across various stages of the customer journey.
Drive the creation of core marketing materials, including product pages, data sheets, presentations, solution guides, videos, case studies, and website content, ensuring consistency and quality.
Serve as the internal and external spokesperson for the Locus product portfolio, presenting at industry events, webinars, and customer meetings.
Partner with the Sales team to develop effective sales tools and enablement materials, including pitch decks, battlecards, ROI calculators, objection handling scripts, and tailored demos.
Deliver product training and ongoing market insights to the Sales, Customer Success, and Business Development teams to ensure they are fully equipped to articulate Locus’s value and competitive advantage.
Lead efforts to gather qualitative and quantitative market and customer insights through research, win/loss analysis, and direct customer interviews.
Synthesize market trends, especially around logistics technology (Last-Mile, Middle-Mile, TMS), and competitive dynamics into actionable insights for the Product Management team to inform the product roadmap.
Track and report on key product marketing metrics, including product adoption, revenue impact of new launches, content engagement, and funnel conversion rates.
5+ years of progressive experience in Product Marketing, with at least 3+ years in a senior/leadership role within the B2B SaaS industry.
Proven track record of successfully launching and scaling complex, enterprise-level technology products.
Demonstrable expertise in developing compelling narratives, high-impact positioning, and creative GTM strategies.
Deep understanding of the logistics, supply chain, or transportation technology (SaaS) space is a must.
Strategic Thinker: Ability to translate complex technical concepts (e.g., machine learning algorithms, routing optimization) into clear, concise, and market-ready value propositions.
Exceptional Communicator: Outstanding written, verbal, and presentation skills, capable of influencing executive stakeholders and engaging large audiences.
Collaborative Leader: Proven ability to build strong relationships and drive consensus with cross-functional teams (Product, Sales, Engineering).
Data-Driven: Proficiency in using data and analytics to inform decisions, measure impact, and drive continuous improvement.
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Engineering, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
