Role:


As a Product Marketing Leader, you will act as the voice of Locus across different industry verticals. You will speak the language of our customers and prospects as you create authentic, compelling and cutting-edge content that drives thought leadership and generates pipeline, educates sales and other internal departments, and collaborates with internal stakeholders. You will also be responsible for learning about our customers’ product use cases to build compelling case studies, and industry best practice guides. Your role will be key in driving demand and evangelizing Locus’ solutions across different industries. 

This role is key to the success of marketing at Locus and requires you to learn about the industries we operate in, our competitors, our buyers and our products. You will support strategic insights with market evidence, and leverage it to drive demand generation programs across industry verticals.


Purpose:


This is a strategic role responsible for developing positioning, messaging, competitive differentiation, and enabling the Sales, Product and Marketing teams. This role will drive synthesizing market inputs, customer and competitive insights for enabling the target revenues for the business. As the positioning gets built, this role will work closely with sales and product teams to design, Implement and execute Go-To-Market (GTM) strategy, by customer segment, industry and geography. Along with this, the responsibilities include creating, leading and executing the analyst engagement programs.

Global role required to interact and build relationships across a range of functions and geographies. This is a strategic role that operates at a senior level both inside and outside of Locus.

KEY REQ.

Minimum qualification & experience

MBA graduate with an engineering degree and 10 - 11 years of experience in SaaS / technology space and with a wide cross-functional experience. Preferable experience in Product Management, Strategy, Biz Dev. Experience managing people and working at senior Level

Positioning effectiveness as measured by stakeholder buy-in and order book targets been met; Beta client success stories for new launches and reference clients; Client personas; # of white papers and blogs, '# of new assets and refresh, sales tools usage, customer conversions

Create and execute product positioning that is decisive, competitive and relevant across the different geographies and industry segments, during launch as well as in the product life cycle. Leverage customer intent, market insights and competitive intel to develop clear and differentiated value propositions. Build use cases which relate to client's business problems or opportunities to solutions from our platform. Convert product propositions into stories which clients can relate to and client facing personnel can easily convey. This should drive product’s market success through differentiation of the product by ensuring that it always stays in line with client's needs and market trends.

Work with industry analysts to ensure outside in market insights as well as appropriate positioning of our portfolio and solutions within the analyst community. Lead initiatives for analyst mentions and awards and submission of requirements via collaboration with the product team.

Ongoing insights, inputs into product strategy and roadmap, drive content creation

Drive market insights through industry ecosystem engagement, desk research, analysis to enable the strategy across product and GTM
