Job Overview:

We are seeking Director Sales with demonstrated experience in Enterprise Logistics Tech Sales to drive sales efforts in the fast-growing North America Market. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the nuances of the US Region, coupled with a proven track record of driving revenue growth and expanding market share within the courier, express parcel, and retail sectors. The ideal candidate will have a strategic mindset, strong leadership abilities, and a passion for innovation in the logistics and retail space.

Key Responsibilities:


Sales Strategy:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and market expansion goals.

  • Analyze market trends, customer needs, and the competitive landscape to identify growth opportunities.

Client Acquisition and Retention:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the courier, express parcel, and retail industries.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Sales Operations and Performance:

  • Oversee sales operations, including pipeline management, forecasting, and reporting.

  • Implement effective sales processes, tools, and technologies to optimize efficiency and productivity.

Collaboration and Communication:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, operations, and customer service, to align sales strategies with overall business objectives.

  • Communicate sales performance, market insights, and strategic initiatives to senior leadership.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Logistics, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 10 years of sales experience in the logistics, courier, express parcel, or retail industry, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.

  • Demonstrated success in driving significant revenue growth and achieving sales targets.

Industry Knowledge:

  • Deep understanding of the logistics and retail landscape, including industry trends, challenges, and opportunities.

Leadership Skills:

  • Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse sales team.

Strategic Thinking:

  • Excellent strategic planning and execution abilities, with a focus on innovation and continuous improvement.

Communication:

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, partners, and internal stakeholders.
