Job Overview:

Role Description

As an Software Developer II (Fullstack), Engineer at Locus, you will play a pivotal role in building robust, scalable, and high-performance backend systems. You will be at the forefront of designing solutions that can handle millions of transactions, ensuring reliability, security, and innovation across our products.

 

Responsibilities

  • Design & implement backend APIs at Locus.sh

  • Actively work to reduce tech debt in the Locus

  • Work towards more stability & scalability

  • Understand and improve underlying architecture

  • Experience working in AWS Environment

  • Tech stack - Node.js, TypeScript (ReactJS), MongoDB




 On-Call Responsibilities

  • Participate in a scheduled on-call rotation to provide production support for critical applications and services.

  • Respond to and resolve high-priority incidents, ensuring minimal downtime and impact to customers.

  • On-call duties will be rotated fairly across the engineering team, with clear escalation paths and defined coverage schedules.


Education Qualification: 

B.Tech or equivalent with at least  4+ years of experience 

Requirement:


  • B.Tech or relevant degree, 3-5 years of product company experience

  • Proficiency in Backend development using Node.js

  • Experience working in AWS Environment

  • Good knowledge of Data Structure and Algorithms.

  • Strong coding, testing, and debugging skills

  • Experience with unit testing.

  • Prior experience in building REST APIs

  • Experience with MAVEN, JIRA, GIT, and CI Tools.

  • Prior knowledge of solving problems at scale.
