About the Role

As Integration Engineer you'll craft scalable and efficient API solutions, playing a pivotal role in our technological growth. We're excited about the expertise and innovation you'll bring to our team.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manages the workflow, projects, and assignments of Integration Engineers

  • Mentor the team on defining the integration and dataflow architectures, and guiding the design of the APIs that can be a point of stability to develop against in the short term and will endure as the platform technologies around them changes

  • Provides technical assistance to the Support and Implementation teams relative to system and applications operations and troubleshooting complex issues.

  • Collaborating with other cross-functional leads  from Engineering, Product, Pre-Sales and Customer Success

  • Responsible for key technical integration decisions. Provide direction and mentorship to the team and help setup best practices.

  • Responsible for the testing processes performed by the Integration Engineers and the testing of assigned work.

  • Develop API specifications for internal use or to fulfill customer requests via custom scripts. This will need programming experience and knowledge of one of the scripting languages, preferably python. Knowledge of relational databases and ability to write SQL queries.

  • Define, Document and implement Large and high impact Process

  • Lead and be the prime technical contact person for any large enterprise integrations

  • Create and maintain an open and transparent environment that values speed and innovation, and motivates team to build innovative and effective systems rapidly

  • Provides on-call support as needed

     On-Call Responsibilities

    • Participate in a scheduled on-call rotation to provide production support for critical applications and services.

    • Respond to and resolve high-priority incidents, ensuring minimal downtime and impact to customers.

    • On-call duties will be rotated fairly across the engineering team, with clear escalation paths and defined coverage schedules.


Qualifications:

  • 5-7 yrs experience in system integration and API development.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Solid understanding of micro services framework, RESTful and SOAP APIs, JSON, XML and related technologies.

  • Programming experience and knowledge of one of the scripting languages, preferably NodeJS or Python.

  • Ability to manage multiple integration projects and priorities.

  • Knowledge of relational databases and ability to write SQL queries.

  • Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS and their integration services.
